CYT Bilisim ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") operates the SnapCAM mobile application and the website snapcam.app (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

By using SnapCAM, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this policy, please do not access the Service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account or subscribe to a paid plan, we may collect:

  • Payment information (processed securely by our payment partners; we do not store credit card numbers)
  • Device information (device model, operating system version)

2.2 Project Data

Images you upload, contour data, dimensions, G-code files, DXF files, and SVG files you create within the Service.

2.3 Machine Profiles

CNC machine configurations you save, including machine type, work area dimensions, controller type, and cutting parameters.

2.4 Usage Data

We automatically collect certain information when you use the Service:

  • App usage patterns and feature usage statistics
  • Crash reports and performance data
  • Device identifiers
  • IP address and approximate location (country level)
  • Session duration and frequency

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the SnapCAM service
  • To process images and generate G-code, DXF, and SVG files

  • To improve our AI contour detection algorithms (using anonymized data only)

4. On-Device Processing

SnapCAM processes photos on your device using on-device AI models whenever possible. Photos are not uploaded to our servers for contour detection unless you explicitly enable cloud processing. Generated G-code, DXF, and SVG files are stored locally on your device by default.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on AWS servers in the EU (eu-north-1 region). Images and files are stored in encrypted S3 buckets. Database data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:

  • Payment Processors: Lemon Squeezy (global) and PayTR (Turkey) for subscription billing
  • Cloud Infrastructure: AWS for hosting and storage
  • Analytics Services: Anonymized usage data for service improvement
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or governmental authority
